Write what must
be written.
ABOUT US
Founded in 2004 by Anhinga Press, Fiction Collective 2, and the University of Tampa Press, the Florida Literary Arts Coalition (FLAC) is a nonprofit network of writers, teachers, editors, publishers, and sympathetic institutions collaborating to advance new writing and independent publishing throughout the state and region. FLAC is also a founding co-sponsor of the Florida Book Awards.

Behind the scenes, our officers and board members run FLAC and brainstorm ideas to help make a stronger writing community. And of course none of this would be possible without our members and sponsors. Thank you for making this possible.
